The music at the club blasted through the speakers as Alexis and her girls kept toasting to the good life. “Let’s take a shot for money and succes” the girls agreed, clinked their glasses together, and took the Don Julio to the head.

She was out celebrating with the girls, toasting to her up and coming wedding to the love of her life John. The two have been together for four years and have a son together. They just recently purchased a new home where he had one of the rooms decorated and had their family there to witness the proposal.

John had rose petals littered all over the floor with candles lining both sides of the red carpet. He had her blindfolded and walked her to the end of the carpet where he instructed her to take off the mask.

She immediately burst into tears seeing all the family and the love of her life on bended knee grabbing her hand asking her to marry him. Of course her answer was “Yes! Yes baby I love you!” The two set the date for Feb 2026, and life couldn’t get any better.

Last call for alcoholl” the DJ announced over the speaker, but they were finishing up the bottle they ordered in their section. “One last toast,” Alexis suggested, and poured everybody the last of the liquor they had in the bottle. “To love, and my last year being somebody’s girlfriend because I’m bout to be a wife!”

The girls finished up the bottle and made their way outside. “You sure you good to drive?” One of her friends asked noticing her stumbling a bit. “Yeah im good, just ready to get home to my man,” she replied hugging her friend and hopped in the car and sped out the parking lot.

The road looked like it was four lanes from her distorted vision. She was actually driving down the wrong side of the road. The headlights coming towards her startled her, and she swerved from

The lane to avoid an accident but accelerated and lost control of the car. It all happened so fast, she didn’t even see the wall, and smashed into it at an excessive speed of 85 mph.

The impact caused the car to flip, and closed her eyes forever. The police arrived on the scene and once she was identified, the officer made a call to John around 3 am and informed him that Alexis had just been involved in a fatal car crash.

His heart sank from his chest to his stomach, and he dropped the phone, grabbed his keys, and bolted from the house. Crying, and in disbelief, he raced through the streets, and unfortunately lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road and smashed into a tree, throwing his body though the windshield and into the tree, snapping his neck and killed him instantly.

The two lovers dead bodies laid miles apart, their dreams and plans ruined. What’s the odds of such a tragic situation happening just an hour apart, when everything was going really great. I guess maybe their love will live on in the after life, but for now they were tagged and bagged, and placed beside each other in morgue waiting for the families to identify their bodies.
